Tim J. Gabel

Tim J. Gabel is President and Chief Executive Officer of RTI International. He was named to the role in 2021, succeeding E. Wayne Holden, and also sits on RTI's Board of Governors. He holds an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a BS in Statistics/Computer Science from the University of Wyoming.

Andrew D. Cox

Andrew D. Cox is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of RTI International, a position he assumed in 2025. He holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Finance, both from North Carolina State University.

Bucky Fairfax

Bucky Fairfax is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of RTI International, overseeing Human Resources, Global Real Estate, and Global Security for RTI's global workforce. He holds a Doctorate of Business Administration from Temple University, an MBA (HR management and leadership) from Averett University (2003), and a BA in English from Virginia Commonwealth University (1999). He completed the Advanced Human Resources Executive Program at the University of Michigan in 2013.

Michael H. Kaelin, Jr.

Michael H. Kaelin, Jr. is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of RTI International. A February 2025 executive leadership update noted he was transitioning into the EVP/COO role at that time. He oversees corporate strategy, corporate development, central enabled innovation, RTI Digital Ventures, Health Solutions, Innovation Advisors, and Lab Sciences. He holds a BS in Accounting from Davis & Elkins College and is a licensed CPA in North Carolina.

Anuja G. Purohit

Anuja G. Purohit is Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary and Chief Legal Officer of RTI International, providing strategic legal guidance to senior management and RTI's Board of Governors. She holds a JD and LLM in International and Comparative Law from Duke University and a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from Denison University.

Chris Simmons

Chris Simmons is Senior Vice President and head of RTI Health Solutions (RTI-HS). He holds a BA in Accounting from North Carolina State University and an MS in Clinical Research from Wake Forest University, with coursework concentrated on clinical and real-world study design, analysis, data management, quality, ethical, and regulatory aspects. He is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 30 years of experience in financial and operational positions, with a particular focus on early-stage and rapidly growing technology and biotech businesses.

Tammy Lesko

Tammy Lesko, BS, is Vice President of Quality at RTI Health Solutions, LLC and RTI Laboratory Sciences & Engineering (LSE).

David White

David White was named RTI International's Vice President of Client Technology in April 2026. He holds a BS in Computer Management from Franklin University and an AS in Business Administration from Columbus State Community College.

E. Wayne Holden

E. Wayne Holden is the prior President and Chief Executive Officer of RTI International, preceding Tim J. Gabel (named CEO in 2021). As CEO, Holden announced the launch of Research Triangle Institute Global India Private Limited, RTI's wholly owned Indian subsidiary, on February 2, 2015.

C. Howard Nye

C. Howard Nye is Chairman of RTI International's Board of Governors and President and CEO of Martin Marietta Materials, Inc.

Alec Gallimore

Alec Gallimore is Provost of Duke University and a member of RTI International's Board of Governors.

Christy Shaffer

Christy Shaffer is a General Partner at Hatteras Venture Partners and a member of RTI International's Board of Governors.
